PITTSBURG, Calif. (KGO) -- A police officer and four other people were hospitalized after a Pittsburg police car crashed while responding to a bank robbery Monday afternoon.

SKY7 HD flew over the scene, at East Leland and Loveridge roads.

Police say the patrol car had its emergency lights and sirens on when it hit another car. That set off a chain-reaction collision. Another car and a motorcycle were also hit.

All the injuries appear to be non-life threatening. The California Highway Patrol is leading the investigation into the crash.
