Blue Angels aerial acrobatics amaze audiences again
SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- All eyes were on the sky as the Blue Angels took to the sky for another day of aerial acrobatics over the San Francisco Bay as part of San Francisco Fleet Week.
The event drew nearly a million people and brought traffic to a halt.

They didn't disappoint.
"It was spectacular! I have no words," said Dorie Green, a Blue Angels fan.
"My favorite part has to be the scariest part - when they fly real low!" said Leigha Rose, who also made it out for the show.

Pilots met with fans after the show.
Fleet Week began in 1981 when then Mayor Diane Feinstein led the nation in celebrating America's sea services.
The event including the air shows, parade of ships and many community events have become part of the city's local culture and economy - generating over $10 million in revenue for the city. It's the largest and most significant event of its kind in the nation.
