San Francisco dad chases coyote away from his kids

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A San Francisco dad says he had to chase a coyote away from his kids on the Lands End Trail near the Sutro Baths this week.

The man who shot video of the coyote says it was running toward one of his kids and that's when his own animal instinct kicked in.

Animal experts say coyotes rarely attack humans, but it is best to keep your distance.
