1 dead, 2 hurt in downtown Oakland shooting

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- A fight and shooting early Sunday morning in downtown Oakland left one person dead and two others injured.

Oakland police tell ABC7 News that their officers saw a large group fighting at the intersection of 14th and Franklin streets just after 1:30 a.m.

Those officers heard gunshots.

Three people were shot. One died on the way to the hospital. The third showed up at a local emergency room.

All three victims were adult males.

Police say the fight and shooting happened outside a nightclub in the area.

No one has been arrested in connection with this shooting, and police have not released any description of the parties involved.
