Every home on the Etcheber's block has orange lights wrapped around their garage.

"We were just trying to think of a way where we could really honor Stacee and show Vinnie and the kids how much we love and support them," said friend Jen Altman.

"Orange was her favorite color that was her color she had an orange wedding dress, she had an orange couch in her house," said friend Stacy Reno.

Altman says they weren't sure they'd be able to find orange lights in December.

"We just weren't sure if it was possible," said Altman.

Altman emailed Russ Young, one of the owners of Pini Hardware.

"This was a no brainer this was something we wanted to be involved in," said Young.

Still, shelves at Pini Hardware were already stocked with red and green lights.

"We contacted our warehouse we said we're looking for anything in orange lights," said Young.

"I literally had 100 boxes of orange lights in the back of my car within two days," said Altman.

Pini Hardware donated the lights.

Altman created care packages for every house on the block with a note about Stacee and the plans to surprise and honor the Etcheber family.

"It just all kind of came into place," said Altman.

A show of solidarity this holiday season in Stacee's favorite color.

"She's not coming back so the longer that everybody rallies around the family the better," said Reno.
