'Good luck Boch!' Giants fans say goodbye to beloved manager Bruce Bochy
SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- It might have been the loudest sendoff salute in baseball history with foghorns blaring from Oracle Park saying goodbye and good luck to Giants Manager Bruce Bochy on his retirement.
Fans could also use the Giants' app for a foghorn sound effect. An SFFD fireboat sprayed water in McCovey Cove.

"My mom didn't live long enough to see the Giants get to the World Series but he brought us three, so God bless him," said Giants fan Gloria Bailey.
Drink cups, signs, and t-shirts all had Bochy's name on them.
Dennis Villalpando brought a large handmade goodbye banner from Fresno.
"He's won three championships and we really appreciate that maybe we'll never see that again," said Villalpando.
Forget the church, newlyweds Stephanie and Nick Ruiz tied the knot outside Oracle Park before Bochy's last game.
"We love Bochy and have a lot of memories here in San Francisco, when we met we came here for the weekend," said Stephanie Ruiz.

As a manager, Bochy leaves behind a treasured 25 year legacy in Major League Baseball. Even Dodgers fans had to give respect.
"That's the reason we came to Bochy's last game, we respect him. It's the biggest rivalry in baseball as far as I'm concerned," said LA Dodgers fan Tom Hughey.

Everyone hates goodbyes, but some things have got to be said.
"Thank you, we love you, enjoy retirement," said Giants fan Dan Hart.
"Good luck Boch, have a great life, if you don't want to watch baseball that's ok," said Dennis Villalpando.
After the game, fans cheered for their favorite MLB manager. It lasted more than 90 minutes during Bochy's retirement ceremony which ended with the Tony Bennett classic song, I left my heart in San Francisco.
