CUTE: Two 'Jedi babies' lightsaber duel over a cupcake

Television editor Oscar Rene-Lozoya created the video titled "Crib Wars Episode I: The Baby Menace," employing his young second cousins as the stars. In an email to ABC, Rene-Lozoya said that he was inspired to create the video after snapping a great photo of his cousin Matthew Gaxiola (baby Yoda) scarfing down a Mickey-Mouse cupcake.

Wanting to capture the moment on video, he decided to craft a short film combining his family's love for Star Wars.

According to Rene-Lozoya, his actor family had a lot of fun. Five-year-old Joshua Gaxiola (baby Darth Vader) is a huge Star Wars fan, and Violet Marquez (baby Princess Leia) was laughing throughout the whole shoot.

"I love making these videos with my family!" said Rene-Lozoya. "These videos really give me an excuse to meet up with my family, have a lot of fun, and still feel like I'm working on my craft as a filmmaker."

Rene-Lozoya said that friends volunteered to help him shoot the video with his family, knowing how much fun they always have. During the five-hour filming session, the cast and crew had a relaxed time as they watched football in the background, jammed out to Star Wars music, and ate pizza and cupcakes.
