WASHINGTON, D.C. (KGO) -- Bay Area Congresswoman Jackie Speier and Attorney Gloria Allred are joining forces on new sexual harassment legislation that they hope will prevent scandals like the Marines nude photo scandal.

The Facebook group at the heart of the Marines nude-photo sharing scandal was dismantled.
Now the Peninsula Democrat wants to make it illegal for members of the military to share intimate pictures of other troops without that person's permission.

Attorney Gloria Allred unveiled the bill Thursday morning with Speier on Capitol Hill.
Allred is also representing a victim in the Marines United case.
