Activists are planning a protest at Uber headquarters in San Francisco and other locations nationwide on Thursday. They are demanding CEO Travis Kalanick cut his ties with President Trump.

Kalanick is part of a panel of business leaders meeting with the president at the White House on Friday.

Uber enraged customers after drivers at JFK Airport crossed a taxi driver picket line related to the president's immigration order last weekend.

Kalanick says his working relationship with Trump is necessary to fulfill Uber's mission.
