BERKELEY, Calif. (KGO) -- Berkeley is joining San Francisco in the million dollar club when it comes to home prices.

Data from Red Oak Realty shows Berkeley's median home price hit $1.05 million in the second quarter of 2015.

It's the highest median price on record in that city and the first time the price has reached $1 million.

San Francisco is still the most expensive city in the Bay Area and across the country, for that matter.

The California Association of Realtors puts the median home price in San Francisco at more than $1.3 million.
