HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES -- It's most definitely the talk of Tinseltown -- and the galaxy -- as the world premiere of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" was in the heart of Hollywood on Saturday.
Hollywood Boulevard was closed off between Argyle Avenue and Vine Street to make way for the enormous premiere.
When celebrities arrived to the red carpet, the first thing they saw was a giant X-wing Starfighter, one of the real stars of the premiere.
The X-wing was not the only thing for people to enjoy at the event. Props from the set of the film were displayed, including costumes and characters.
Several celebs, including the film's starlet Felicity Jones, were at the star-studded event.
"My family are here, my close friends are here, so...just the happiness I'm feeling is immense that they are finally going to see the film, this thing that I've not stopped talking about - without giving away any spoilers - for the last two years. I just can't wait to share it with them," she said.
Diego Luna, who plays Cassian Andor, said he's relieved he can share his excitement with the world.
"Tonight is the night the secrecy ends, you know, we finally deliver this film, we can talk about it and we can go back to being fans. You know, I can go back to just watching the film with my kids, popcorn and enjoy the ride...," the excited actor shared.
"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" officially opens on Dec. 16.
