Take an aerial tour of flooding from Coyote Creek in San Jose
Hundreds of homes had to be evacuated, and residents had to be rescued by boat after flooding took over a San Jose neighborhood Tuesday.

SAN JOSE (KGO) -- San Jose firefighters rescued more than 200 of residents by boat in flood waters in the Rock Springs neighborhood Tuesday.

Sky7 captured an aerial view of residents being rescued from their homes by boat, as well as the destruction left behind from the flooding.

More than 500 homes were affected by the evacuations. Flood victims were gathering at James Lick High School which had been turned into a temporary shelter.
