SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- San Francisco police are asking for help with identifying a man wanted for several home invasions in the Chinatown area.

They released a sketch of the suspect, described as balding, African-American, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 145 pounds.

He's wanted for at least three break-ins at single-residency hotels in the last two weeks.

The man enters the building and then searches for unlocked doors.

Police are urging residents to keep doors locked at all times. Some of the cases have been violent.
