No gunman found at San Jose State University after search of campus building

San Jose State University police have closed E. San Salvador Street after receiving an anonymous report of a gunman in campus, May 6, 2015.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- The search for a reported gunman at San Jose State University has ended after no gunman was found.



Officials said SJSU received an anonymous text Wednesday night of report of a person with a gun inside Duncan Hall.



Around 7:45 p.m. the search of Duncan Hall ended and San Salvador Street reopened to traffic. No evacuations or shelter-in-place have been ordered.
