LARKSPUR, Calif. (KGO) -- A young soccer player from Larkspur has taken the summer to hone her soccer skills while raising money for sick children.
Nine-year-old Hollis Belger is "Juggling for Jude."
She's bouncing a soccer ball on her shins, alternating legs and hoping to inspire people to pledge money on her website. It's all to benefit St.Jude Children's Research Hospital.
"It was also a great way to get me to improve on my skills and get ready for soccer, but also to help these kids that are sick. They have cancer so I think it's a really good thing," said Belger.
She's already raised $14,000. The young athlete has a goal of at least $25,000 and also hopes to reach 400 consecutive juggles by then.
Her most consecutive juggles so far- 326!
