Alameda County Sheriff's Office raising money for bikes for Butte County kids

The Alameda County Sheriff's Office has set up a GoFundMe campaign to buy bikes and helmets for at least 100 kids impacted by the Camp Fire in Butte County. (KGO-TV)

Alameda County deputies want to bring holiday cheer to kids who lost everything in the Camp Fire.

The Sheriff's Office has set up this GoFundMe campaign called "Bikes for Butte."

The goal is to raise $20,000 to buy bikes and helmets for at least 100 kids.

The deadline is December 21.
