"The main thing is the people, remembering how you interacted or how I interacted with people," Chief Scott said.
In wake of the skateboarding event that turned into chaos with more than hundred people arrested, Police Chief Bill Scott says next week the department will release the body camera footage and have a detailed account of everything that happened.
"What is excessive about an officer putting on safety protective equipment when they are having explosives thrown at them? Bottles thrown at them. Getting punched in the face and spat on," SFPD Chief Bill Scott said.
Mayor Breed says she saw this video of Brown's shooting for the first time Monday. "It's a real tragedy but at the end of the day, I think that the district attorney did everything she could to look at the evidence and make a decision based on what the evidence demonstrated," she said.
Chief Scott says arrests have been made in two recent cases where Asian American seniors were "senselessly and brutally" attacked, and a suspect has been identified in the third case. But some say it's not good enough, as some crimes don't get prosecuted.
