I-880 briefly shut down in both directions in San Lorenzo due to police activity

SAN LORENZO, Calif. (KGO) -- Interstate-880 was shut down in both directions due to police activity on an overpass above the freeway in San Lorenzo Monday afternoon.

The freeway reopened just before 1:15 p.m. after police took a man into custody. The freeway was closed for approximately 20-30 minutes.
