SAN FRANCISCO -- A man was injured this morning in San Francisco after he was struck by a Muni light-rail train, a San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency spokesman said.
The man suffered head and facial injuries when he was struck by the side of the T-Third train near the intersection of Third Street and Carroll Avenue, SFMTA spokesman Paul Rose said.
The man was transported to the hospital. His condition wasn't immediately available.
The crash is causing delays due to northbound Third Street being blocked.
The SFMTA has established a bus bridge from Sunnydale Avenue to Williams Avenue.
