Boeing may make sleeping easier for economy class passengers

There may be an answer to better sleep for people who fly economy on long flights.

Boeing recently filed a patent for the transport upright vehicle support system.

The airplane maker is trying to solve the common problem of trying to sleep hunched over to the side or straight up.

Here's how it works: Passengers have a back pack under their seat, once it is secured onto the seat, a head cushion is deployed. There's also a cushion for the chest, so the person can lean forward. It's similar to sitting in one of those massage chairs where you lean on a support board with a face opening.
