Count on mostly clear skies overnight. The warming trend that started today will continue tomorrow under sunny skies. The warmest inland areas will approach 90 degrees in some spots by afternoon. This trend doesn't last. The fog returns near the coast on Wednesday and a gradual cooling trend will begin.
The Look Ahead
Temperatures will continue to come down heading into Memorial Day weekend. High temperatures will run below average for late May. Minor warming will take place the second half of the weekend.
