CAMARILLO SPRINGS, Calif. (KGO) -- The same storm that soaked the Bay Area is now hitting Southern California. Mud is surrounding homes in Camarillo Springs in Ventura County.
Officials say at least 100 homes in a senior living community have been damaged and more than 20 have been red tagged.
The area is under a mandatory evacuation order, but some homeowners who didn't leave right away had to be rescued and carried out by firefighters Friday morning.
Residents in the city of Glendora are also facing mandatory evacuations. The hills around Glendora were weakened from the Colby fire last January.
