"Everyone creates the thing they dread."

If you thought a second trailer for "Avengers: Age of Ultron" could not possibly have a more eerie feel than the first one, think again.

The latest commercial for the much-anticipated sequel aired Monday night during the College Football Playoff National Championship game on ESPN. This one left fans wondering just how bleak things can get when the Avengers face off against the robotic super-villain Ultron. The first trailer, which aired in October, now has more than 64 million views on YouTube.

Again set over the spine-tingling arrangement of the once-cheery song "I Got No Strings" from Disney's Pinocchio, this trailer shows even more destruction and doom. It also has several close-ups of crowd favorite old (and new!) characters.

How could Ultron possibly be defeated? Iron Man, played by Robert Downey Jr., offers a small hint near the beginning of the spot:

"This vulnerable world needs something more powerful than any of us."

What powerful something could that be? We'll find out in a few months: Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters May 1.
