They are questions that aren't always easy to ask, but Susan Piver, author of The Hard Questions: 100 Essential Questions to Ask Before You Say "I Do," says you have to.

Susan suggests asking the following questions:

  • Do you want to have children?
  • Will we share a religion?
  • Will we keep our money in the same bank account?
  • What holidays would we celebrate together?
