Police said the girl's mother reported her missing at 6:30 p.m. Saturday from the apartment complex at 215 Bayview St. The girl was found 45 minutes later walking in the complex. Police said she was upset and had some physical injuries.

The girl said two men had driven up to her and forced her into a car, police said.

She said they drove her to the Bret Harte area where she was able to get out of the car and get back home, police said.

Police said the girl described the car as a small, black, four-door vehicle with tinted windows and a black leather interior. The girl said its occupants were men in their late teens or early 20s who spoke Spanish, according to police.

Police interviewed residents of the apartment complex and are still investigating the report.
