NASA admits to major security breaches

NASA is admitting some serious security lapses in its information technology section.

The space agency's inspector general told a Congressional committee that someone stole a laptop last year containing unencrypted codes that control the International Space Station.

In another incident, hackers who appear to be based in China managed to get into computers at NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab in Southern California and got full access to their systems and user accounts.
