The board will kick off the public discussion about the toll hike at its Friday meeting -- that according to the agenda the district has released on that meeting.
The amount of the proposed increase is unknown, but the bridge district is facing a five-year shortfall of $87 million dollars.
A 47-page report on the shortfall and possible toll increase is expected to be released tomorrow.
