BAY POINT, CA --
Firefighters have controlled a two-alarm blaze that broke out this morning in an apartment building in the unincorporated Contra Costa County community of Bay Point, a Contra Costa County Fire Protection District dispatcher said.The fire was reported at 5:25 a.m. and burned in a vacant two-story apartment complex at 27 Skipper Road, according to the dispatcher. The fire was declared under control at 6:03 a.m.
There were no immediate reports of injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
