Approximately 2,000 Bay Area businesses and residents remain without power early this morning mainly due to stormy weather, according to Pacific Gas and Electric Co.

Power is out for 1,318 customers in the North Bay, 115 customers in the Peninsula, 7 in San Francisco, 13 in the East Bay, and 122 in the South Bay, PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi said.

There is no estimated time for when power will be restored.

The numbers are promising considering a major storm earlier this month knocked out power to over a million PG&E customers, Guidi said.
