One of the leaders in the Diablo Valley College grade-changing scandal will serve a year in jail as part of a plea-bargain deal.

Liberato Rocky Servo is agreeing to plead guilty and help the prosecution in exchange for a reduced sentence.

Servo is a former employee in the DVC records office.

He told authorities he made $15,000 dollars in the grade-changing scam.

Prosecutors are now following up on information given by Servo, including the names of two previously unknown middlemen in the academic fraud case.
