Emergency landing at Moffett Field

March 4, 2008 12:00:00 AM PST
It was a perfect emergency landing Tuesday evening in the South Bay. A Beachcraft Bonanza style plane with landing gear problems safely belly-landed at Moffett Field.

The plane had problems with its gear and flew in circles for about an hour near Santa Cruz, burning off fuel. The pilot landed around 5:20 p.m.

It went textbook smooth and there were no injuries.
