Sharks sign Pavelski, Roenick, Boucher

SAN JOSE, CA

Pavelski signed a two-year contract Wednesday after posting 19 goals and 21 assists in his second NHL season.

Roenick came out of semiretirement to join the Sharks last season and had 14 goals and 19 assists. He enjoyed his time enough to want to come back for a 20th season. The 38-year-old Roenick has 509 career goals, the second most for an American-born player.

Boucher also signed a one-year deal and is expected to get more playing time as the backup to Evgeni Nabokov next season.
