A Canadian water bomber has joined the fight against California's wildfires.

The aircraft landed at Lake Shasta near Redding Sunday. It will be used to douse a wildfire near Shasta Dam as soon as visibility improves.

The water bomber can hold 7,200 gallons of water. It can fill its tank in 30 seconds by skimming lakes and resevoirs at 100 mph.
