About Cool Globes
"Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet" is public art with a purpose. Launched in Chicago in June 2007, the original Cool Globes exhibit featured 130 globes, each depicting a solution to global warming. The exhibit received an enormous response from the public and media. In 2008, Cool Globes will be presented in Washington D.C. at the U.S. Botanic Garden, in San Francisco at Crissy Field, through the generous support of Toyota.

Cool Globes was founded by mother of four and environmentalist Wendy Abrams who wanted to raise awareness of simple solutions to global warming that all individuals can implement.
