The Youth Baseball League of New Haven told Scott's coach that the boy could not pitch any more; and when Scott took the mound anyway, the other team forfeited.
Scott can hit 40 mph – he has never hit anybody, but league officials say kids are afraid to face him.
But that is not the problem, Scott's mom said. She claims the real issue is that Scott turned down an offer to pitch for another team, which is run by the league's president.
