The first shooting was reported at about 3:15 a.m. in the 4100 block of Foothill Boulevard, Oakland police said.
Officers arrived and found a man who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
Another shooting was reported at about 4:10 a.m. near the intersection of 106th Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard, police said.
Officers responded and found a man suffering from a single gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
No suspect information was immediately available for either shooting, police said.
