Immigrant rights activists are planning a protest in San Francisco's Mission District today of recent U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrests.

The protestors allege ICE has been unfairly targeting basic workers' rights and unionization efforts, according to protest spokesman Miguel Perez.

The protest is one of many planned throughout the country today to honor the National Day of Action.

San Francisco's protest is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Mission and 24th streets.
