Lane closures will continue Monday in San Francisco's Presidio as part of the California Department of Transportation's state Highway 1 Traffic Signal Upgrade Project.

Closures have been scheduled along Highway 1 at Clement Street, Anza, Balboa and Cabrillo streets, Lincoln Way, Noriega, Quintara, Taraval, and Vicente streets, Eucalyptus Drive, Holloway Avenue and Junipero Serra Boulevard, according to Caltrans.

Various southbound lanes will close Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and various northbound lanes will close the same days from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Drivers are encouraged to take alternate routes as delays are expected.

Closures will allow crews to pull wires, fill potholes, pour foundations and install poles, according to Caltrans.
