In the previous 17 of 18 elections, if the Redskins won their last home game prior to the election, the incumbent party stayed in the White House. If they lost, the incumbent party lost the White House.
The 2004 election was the only time it was incorrect when John Kerry lost to George W. Bush.
The Steelers won Monday night, so if the legend is true, Obama will win the election.
