The map covers road, mountain and transportation routes and has sold 40,000 copies over the past 10 years.
Bike legend Joe Breeze made the original map in 1998 and has contributed to the new map, the coalition said. His relief shading reveals the county's contours and he updated trail and route information and added newly designed bike routes.
The new map also includes more of West Marin in detail. Graphic artist and Marin cyclist Michael Schwab created a new cover for the map.
The maps will be sold now through December at popular bicycle gathering places including downtown Mill Valley, Fairfax, Point Reyes and along the Sausalito bike path.
The $10 map is free to members of the coalition.
The maps will be available today until noon at the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce office at Lytton Square and on Nov. 22 between 9 a.m. and noon at the Sausalito bike path near Mike's Bikes.
The Marin County Bicycle Coalition was formed in 1998 and its goal is to have 20 percent of all trips in Marin County made by biking or walking.
