Presidio Bank presented the Crisis Center with a $25,000; an amount that may grow up to $50,000 when it is matched by donations from individuals and small groups.
The money will be put towards the center's food pantry and its tutoring program.
The center has seen a 30 percent monthly increase in clients utilizing its food pantry since September; it forecasts that 7,000 people will seek out its services in December and does not expect the numbers to go down in the new year.
