The leak was reported just after 3 p.m. at Avondale and Cardigan
roads, a fire dispatcher said.
Residents were advised to shelter in place for about an hour while
crews secured the scene, according to the dispatcher.
The leak was fixed around 6:30 p.m., according to Molica.
He said no customers lost gas due to the leak.
