Companies pitch-in with Glide shortage

SAN FRANCISCO

After hearing about ABC7's report on the shortage this holiday season, companies have moved quickly to help.

The drive was launched by Craig Ramsey, a board member of SalesForce.com.

Volunteers from Macy's and other organizations were on hand to help the kids pick out the toys best for their age range.

Between $100,000 and $200,000 have been donated.

Glide's Rev. Cecil Williams says during these difficult times community is more important than ever. Glide and other agencies continue to need help over the holiday season.
