The good news with all this recent rain and snow, it's starting to fill the Bay Area's reservoirs, which have been dangerously low following two years of dry weather. East Bay MUD reports it is now 69 percent full. It includes the Lafayette reservoir, where this video was shot, which is 81 percent of normal. Meantime, the Santa Clara Valley Water District is in worse shape. Its reservoirs are only 45 percent full.
