Inner Sunset fire quickly controlled

Firefighters in San Francisco quickly controlled a one-alarm fire at an apartment building in the inner Sunset District, a fire dispatcher said.

Crews responded to a fire reported at about 2:15 a.m. in a three-story apartment building at 95 Judah St. near Sixth Avenue, the dispatcher said.

Firefighters controlled the blaze at around 2:25 a.m., the dispatcher said.

Preliminary reports show one resident has been transported to a hospital suffering from smoke inhalation. The injury is not life threatening, the dispatcher said.

Crews remain at the scene and have not determined the cause of the fire at 2:35 a.m.
