San Francisco among best places to live

According to the Washington-based Pew Research Center, Denver topped the list of cities people would like to live in. It was followed by San Diego and Seattle.

San Francisco and Sacramento also made the top 10. The city by the bay was ranked sixth, while Sacramento came in ninth.

The survey also found that among Americans whose income was over $100,000, Boston, San Francisco and San Diego were the favorite places to live.

San Francisco came in fourth among collge grads, fourth among younger adults (18-34), second among Democrats, first among liberals, and tenth among Republicans.

The cities at the bottom of the list were in the Midwest, including Detroit, Cleveland and Cincinnati.
