Armed gunmen rob Vacaville school

Two armed gunmen entered a Vacaville elementary school Thursday evening and robbed a custodian and classroom, according to police.

Officers responded to Cooper Elementary School at 750 Christine Drive at about 7:40 p.m. where a custodian reported being robbed by two men carrying handguns and wearing black jackets and ski masks, according to the Vacaville Police Department.

The suspects allegedly robbed undisclosed items from a classroom before fleeing the school, police reported.

There were no injuries reported, according to police, and no children were on campus during the robbery.
