Berkeley activists remember Tibetan monks

In Berkeley activists are remembering the Tibetan monks and civilians who died in a protest one year ago from March 14, 2009.

At least 22 Tibetans were killed while demonstrating against the Chinese government.

China has now imposed martial law on Tibet and parts of Western China to prevent any further protests.

The Berkeley group rallied in front of the downtown BART station Saturday evening and planned to hold a traditional Tibetan prayer service.
