UC students protest over salaries

There were protests at UC Berkeley and several other UC campuses to coincide with a meeting of UC regents in Riverside.

The protesters are calling on the Regents to cut top executives' pay and invest that money in research and education.

They claim more than 400 UC executives make at least $200,000 a year, while student fees continue to increase.

Researchers and technical employees joined students in the protest.
