The fire was reported at 1461 Creekside Drive around 3:40 p.m. in a ground-level unit in the back of the complex, fire spokeswoman Emily Hopkins said.

Smoke filled the corridors, and the flames burned until just before 4:30 p.m., Hopkins said.

Firefighters rescued a dog and no injuries were reported.

The cause is under investigation.
